About these terms

These terms apply when you use our website and when you order from Stakr, of Collingwood Buildings, 38 Collingwood Street, Newcastle NE1 1JF. Your accepted quote, and your finance agreement if you take STAKR finance, form part of your contract with us. If anything in your quote differs from these terms, your quote applies.

Prices and quotes

Prices in Build your STAKR are guide prices for the options you choose. Your final price is set out in your quote once your design is complete.

Orders

Your order is confirmed when you accept your final design and quote and pay your deposit. We start making your order only once your deposit has been received.

Design and changes

You sign off your final design before we start making it. If you ask for changes after sign-off, we'll confirm any change to the price and delivery date before going ahead.

STAKR Pro and STAKR Max

STAKR Pro (£1,450) and STAKR Max (£2,950) are paid in advance. The full fee is credited against your STAKR kitchen if you go on to order one with us.

Fit guarantee. If anything we make doesn't fit because of our survey, measurements or design, we remake it free of charge.

The fit guarantee doesn't apply to measurements you take yourself, including measurements taken using our free measuring guide.

Payment

We take payment by bank transfer only (Faster Payments or BACS). We don't take card payments.

If you pay in full, you pay a deposit when you order and the balance on delivery.

STAKR finance is 0% over 12 months with a 20% deposit, for homeowners only and subject to status. It's provided by Stakr directly under a separate finance agreement, which sets out its full terms. Your goods become yours on delivery.

Buying service

If you use our buying service for appliances, worktops or other products, you buy them directly from the supplier and pay the supplier, not us. Your contract for those products is with the supplier. We advise on what to order and when. These products aren't covered by STAKR finance.

Delivery and fitting

We'll confirm your delivery date when you order. Kitchens are typically delivered 2 weeks after your deposit for a small kitchen, 3 weeks for a medium kitchen and 4 weeks for a large or extra-large kitchen. Lead times for other furniture are confirmed in your quote.

Every order is delivered assembled, at no extra cost. If you add STAKR Installation, we install your units for you. Plumbing, electrical work, worktop fitting and other trades aren't included unless your quote says so.

Please make sure we have clear access and that the room is ready on the day we deliver.

Guarantee and aftercare

STAKR frames, doors and drawers are guaranteed for life against defects in materials and workmanship. The guarantee doesn't cover normal wear and tear, misuse, or damage from water, heat or impact.

Wood and finishes age with use. Our refurbishment service can bring doors, drawers and surfaces back to their best; ask us for a quote.

This guarantee is in addition to your legal rights, which it doesn't affect.

Cancellations

Every STAKR piece is made to your specification, so the usual 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply once your order is confirmed.

If you book STAKR Pro or STAKR Max online, you can cancel within 14 days. If you ask us to carry out your survey within those 14 days and then cancel, we'll charge for the work already done.

Using our website

The content of this website belongs to Stakr. Prices, images and descriptions are given in good faith but may change, and images may show options at extra cost.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
